Fast Shutter speeds
This photo was taken at a field hockey game and I took this photo because their movements were fast. I took this picture for Stop Action/Fast Shutter Speeds. In this photo the ISO was 800, F-stops were 5.6, and the seconds were 1/250.
This photo was also taken at the field hockey game, it was taken the same day as the first one. I took it because they were so close to where I was standing. This was also taken for Stop Action. The ISO in this photo was 800, the F-Stops 5.6, and the seconds were 1/250.
Slow Shutter Speeds
This photo was taken here at the school at the field hockey game. I took this photo for Blurred Action/Slow Shutter Speeds. Instead of using the tripod, I sat down and held it firmly. The ISO on this photo was 800, the F-Stops were 5.6, and the seconds were 1/13.
This photo was taken after the game, which was actually taken on accident. I took this also for Blurred Motion. In this the ISO was 800, the F-Stops were 5.6, and the second were 1/13.
Narrow D.O.F
This photo was taken at home. Before deciding this angle, I was just going to take a photo of my jewelry but saw the angle of my Chinese fan. I took this photo for Narrow Depth of Field. The ISO of this photo was 800, the F-Stops were 4.0, and the seconds 1/8.
This photo was taken in March, in Oregon at my aunts house in Medford. This photo was also taken for Narrow Depth of Field. The ISO in this photo was 3200, the F-Stops were 4.5, and the seconds were 1/2500.
Wide D.O.F
This photo was taken a while back as well, we had both begun in photography and this was the result of my photo. I took this more as an experiment. The ISO in this was 3200, the F-Stops were 20, and the seconds were 1/4000.
This photo I took at the field hockey game. I was sitting on the field and wanted to get a group photo of the team. They were gathered around to have a talk during a time out. It was taken for Wide Depth Of Field, so everything had to be in focus. The ISO on this photo was 800, the F-Stops were 5.6, and the seconds were 1/50.
High ISO
For this photo we had to take a photo in low light or night time making it seem grainy, it was taken for High ISO. I took it in my room above my bed since the window is right above my bed. I took it due to the low light. The ISO in this photo was 3200, the F-Stops were 4.0, and the seconds were 1.6.
For this photo came out less grainy than the first one, but there is grain. I took this the same night and also in my room. The ISO in this photo was 3200, the F-Stops were 4.0, and the seconds were 3.2.
Low ISO
This photo was taken at Hillside Park. It was taken for Low ISO which is meant to be bright/normal daylight. The ISO in this photo was 640, the F-Stops were18, and seconds were 1/125.
This photo was taken at the top of hill in Hillside Park. This was also taken for the Low ISO section. The ISO in this photo was 1000, the F-Stops were also 11, and the seconds were 1/125.
Artist Statement:
For this project we had to capture 10 pictures for each category, fast shutter speeds, slow shutter speeds, narrow depth of field, wide depth of field, high ISO, and low ISO, but we only had to place three from each category on the contact sheet. In photoshop I made a new file and copy and pasted the photos I wanted, For fast shutter speeds, it has to freeze a moving object/subject. For slow shutter speeds it has to blur a moving action. Narrow D.O.F focuses on one thing and wide D.O.F focuses on everything. High ISO is taking images in low light or night time and low ISO is taking pictures in normal daylight. After placing all photos onto a contact sheet, we had to pick two from each section and post them along with the ISO's, F-Stops, and seconds, which you can get that information by having the photo in light room and clicking on the photo and it will show the Histogram.
